MACE Courses  – Clean Criminal Record

 

For any course containing training in school or a school visit, Course Participants need to show evidence of no criminal convictions.

 

Course Participants may not enter a primary or secondary  school without this.

 

The Criminal Record should not be more than 6 months old on commencement of the course.

Try to obtain an official copy in the language of training or in English.

 

If the  Criminal Record is only in the native language, a translation is needed, certified by the Head Teacher/Principal/Training Manager or other responsible person. They should write “I certify that this is a true translation of the original” and sign, date (and stamp if possible).

 

Participants may obtain a copy of their Criminal Record at any time but it must be dated less than 6 months before their course commencement.

 

• PDF copies must be e-mailed as soon as possible to the Course Provider.
• The original paper copy (with the certified translation if necessary) must be taken with you to give to the primary/secondary school on the first day.
